Sitting beside the Witch’s Hearthfire, you will frequently hear may wise tales, fables and even parables told in story form to express a craft-truth to be learned. The battle between the opposites is but ever raging. It is our job to learn the wisdom in achieving the Tenet of Harmony and the Tenet of a Balanced Life. Each witch must learn the correct balance in all things in order to ever work on achieving an harmonious existence with all things. You can learn the Tenets of the Faith from The Sacred Pentagraph, as laid down by the Elders of the tradition, for it be a way to implement Wiccae Philosophy into our lives.
This very tale, as beautifully told by Tarostar, tells us in poetic form the battle to achieve these ideals by Snow White and Red Rose. The tale of the Bard in a religion such as Wicca, told by the hearthfire, provides us with prose and imagery to contemplate on and come out from that quiet meditation with new wisdom and insight.
